Back -up classes and extreme reverse classes (BC & EBC) Department of Social Security in Bihar decided on Wednesday (June 25, 2025) that daughters of regular teachers (including headmasters) and unused employees at Girls Residential+2 secondary schools will be entered in the same living schools.
Residential schools operated by the department provide free education and accommodation to girls. They are obliged to stay on the premises for the holistic development of these students, directors, teachers and non -active employees published in these schools.
Previously, there was no specific provision for writing daughters. This represented an important challenge and forced many employees to live separately from their daughters and constantly care for their education.
“The recognition of these challenges, backward classes and extremely backward classes of the Social Security Department have altered their operating instructions. This amendment reflects the Ministry’s commitment to the well -being of its AK employees to ensure a favorable environment for employees and students.”
For daughters published regular employees, this will be optional, not compulsory to study at a residential school where their parents are published. A maximum of two daughters of ordinary staff (including directors/teachers and non -evil employees) will be awarded for daily scientists.
Children live with their parents
While these residential schools primarily provide girls from back and extremely backward classes and daughters of ordinary employees, it is not mandatory to belong to BC-I or BC-II.
The BC-I represents a social and educational disadvantaged group within the CSC, while the BC-II includes those who have a slightly better socio-economic position.
The official also stated: “The enrollment will be exclusively for girls and daughters will stay with their ordinary parents of employees in their assigned residential areas in the school space. Responsibility for food and clothing for their daughters will be employees.”
The official added that the registration of daughters of employees will be above and above the specified capacity of the seats (eg, except 40 seats for class 6, so for classes 7, 8, 9, etc.).
In the case of a regular employee, their daughters can also be transferred to the Girls Residential +2 High School, where the parent is newly published.
“This transformation decision will reduce the burden on teachers and employees, allowing them to maintain their families together and at the same time ensuring that their daughters receive quality education in the support environment,” the official said.
