The Cyber Crime Wing of the Tamil Nadu Police, which is probing the leak of actor and Jana Nayagan from Tamilaga leader Vettri Kazhagam Vijay, said a constant vigil is on in cyberspace to curb the spread of pirated content.
Officials of the special wing said blocking requests have been initiated for more than 300 offending links so far and further steps are underway to identify and remove them. Dedicated teams monitor social media platforms, websites and file-sharing services to prevent the further spread of pirated material.
