
Assembly in Vatice in Palakkad on Saturday evening in solidarity with Palestine.
On Saturday (October 11, 2025) on Saturday (October 11, 2025), the cultural community of Palakkada unified to show solidarity with Palestine. Prominent figures from social, cultural, political and artistic circles of the city gathered to read the names of children killed in Gaza.
The event represented a number of performances: sketches tell Palestinian struggles, recitals of poetry and games depicting the situation of Gaza under the Israeli conflict.
It was part of the “Gaza name” initiative, a national conviction, where the participants read aloud the name 1,500 children allegedly killed in Gaza. Israel is accused of killing up to 18,000 children in Gaza.
The Chairman of the Organizational Committee TR Ajayan introduced a meeting emphasizing the importance of convictions of Israeli “genocidal aggression”. Artist Kathakali Kalamandalam Sivan namboodiri, writers TK Sankaranarayanan, Pa Vasudevan, Kn Sukumaran, TK Narayanadas, K. Mohandas, C. Somasecharan, CP Chitrabhan and CP Chitra led the cultural sphere.
Among the politicians read names were A. Prabhakaran, MLA; K. Santhakumari, MLA; KD Prasenan, MLA; K. Premumar, MLA; K. Babu, Mla; PP Sumod, MLA; P. Mammikutty, Mla; K. binumol, EN Suesh Babu, CK Rajendran, KP Suesh Raj and Sumalata Mohandas.
Others who read names were TK NousShad, Nitin Kanicheri, Janardhanan Pudusseri, MC Gangadharan, Boban Mattumantha, Gire Gire and Rajesh Menon.
How 40 photos show the display and the pathetic situation of Palestine was on the shift. Artists like Sreeja Pallam, PS Jalaja, Ramanan, Kannan Image Nenmara, Kannan Image, Joby Cheetrur, Sreevadasan, Sarundas and Sivan Kavalpara painted live to express feelings about Palestine.
School children also under the program lived in Palestine. The General Conventner CP Pramod organizational committee welcomed the assembly. Prasad Mathew suggested a vote of thanks.
