North Paravur police registered a case over the threat of Hoax bombs received in the Sub Court North Paravur. In the e -mail sent to the official e -mail address of the court threatened unidentified persons setting two improvised RDX explosive devices in court or judge.
The bomber group inspected the court and its premises after the police were warned of the threat. The district police chief (Ernakulam Rural) M. Hemalath told the media that the police were monitoring the origin of the report on the threat using a cyber wing.
The companies were registered according to Section 351 Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit (BNS), (criminal intimidation), section 66D of the Information Technology Act, 2008 (cheating personality using a computer source or communication equipment) and sections 120 (o) and 118 (E) of the Police Act (Public Regulation and Safety).
