On Monday, the Delhi Court accepted a report on the closure of the Directorate for Pravo (ED) in the case of money washing against Suresh Kalmadi, the former leader of the 2010 Commonwealth Games, then the Secretary General of Lalita Bhanot and others.
Congress responded to the court and claimed that the case was “never about justice” and accused the BJP of “lies of weapons”.
Reports of corruption in the Commonwealth Games (CWG) games in 2010 caused a huge political commotion in the country, led to the submission of several criminal and laundering dirty money, including this. Mr. Kalmadi and others were accused of incorrect negotiations in awarding prices and implementing two important contracts for games.
BJP launched the main anti -corruption campaign against the government of Manmohan Singh and the Delhi government led by Sheil Dikshit.
On Monday, however, the special judge (PC) Sanjeev Agaarwal of Rouse Avenue Court said that during the investigation the prosecution could not prove the crime within the relevant part of the PMLA (prevention of the money laundering Act), so no crime was carried out.
“No insult was submitted or has been committed despite the discrete investigation of ED. Therefore, there is no reason to continue the current Ecir, as a result of the conclusion reported in accordance with ED,” the court said.
He also noted that the Central Investigation Office (CBI) had already concluded a case of corruption on the basis of the ED launched its money -laundering probe.
Acceptance of a closure report brings the end of the money laundering angle in the alleged fraud that occurred 15 years ago.
In the video, the leader of the Congress leader Pawan Khera claimed that BJP and AAM AADMI chief (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal focused on the very competent former Prime Minister. Manmohan Singh and former Chief Minister Delhi Shiela Dikshit.
“Their network of lies has now been exhibited,” said Mr. Khera, adding, “Pradhan Mantri Narendra Modi should look for forgiveness from Dr. Singh, Congress and all of us.
