On Wednesday (September 17, 2025), two people were passing through a train in Pettah, Thiruvananthapuram.
Police Pettah identified the deceased as the wine of Kannan and Harivishalakshi of Madurai. The incident occurred around 12:30 in the morning, the couple was hit by a Kollam-Tirunelli train.
While the circumstances of deaths are not yet known, investigators did not exclude the possibility of suicide.
Police moved the bodies to Thiruvananthapuram Government Medical College Hospital for post mortem after completion of the investigation procedure. The relatives of the deceased were informed about the incident, the police said.
