The worker died after he fell on the construction site of the bridge over Sharathi’s water in Sigandur, Sagar Taluk, Shivamogg.
The deceased was identified as Khasim Ali, 31, a native of Assam. Although the workers took him to the government hospital in Sagar, where doctors declared him dead.
Building company officers arranged to move their body to their native place. Rural police Sagar registered the case.
