
The Yogi Adityanath government has quickly monitored preparations for the fourth international cricket stadium UTTAR Pradesh to support the sports infrastructure in the state. While international matches are currently taking place in Kanpur and Lucknow and construction work at the Varanasi stadium is approaching completion, working at the Gorakhpur International Cricket Stadium – one of the main Minister Yogi Adityanath’s dream projects – officially began the UP on Monday.
Compared to a vision of cm adityanathThe planning department prepared a detailed plan for the project. The plan outlines that the construction and development will be completed within 18 months at a 50 acre location in Tal Nadaur in Gorakhpur, with an estimated investment of 236.40 crore.
The main stadium complex will be spread over 45 acres, while the auxiliary devices will be developed on the remaining 5 acres. The stadium is located 23.6 km from the airport, 22 km from the Raptinagar bus and 20.8 km from Gorakhpur. A connecting road connecting the stadium with the Gorakhpur-Varanasi motorway (NH-24) is also planned to increase accessibility, said.
This two -storey cricket stadium will be built to meet the standards of global organizations, including ICC. It will include seven main courses and four training courses with a capacity of approximately 30,000 spectators. The stadium, designed as a multipurpose place, will be able to organize international cricket matches and other extensive events.
The Gorakhpur international cricket stadium develops according to the engineering model, public procurement and construction (EPC). The project includes the construction of entrance gates, security control points, eastern and western stands and northern and southern pavilions in the stadium complex.
The parking equipment can hold up to 1,500 vehicles. Stalls to the east and in the west will have a seating capacity of 14,490, a total of 28,980 seats.
