Party leader Bharatiya Janata (BJP), Patna Sahib MP and former Minister of Trade Union Ravi Shankar Prasad stressed on Saturday that the Indian Constitution has resistance to fulfilling every national challenge and played a key role in strengthening democracy over the past 75 years.
He spoke at the opening lecture of Bhuvneshwari Dayal Memorial on the topic “The Indian Constitutional Travel over the last 75 years organized by BD College in the Secretariat of the Congress Halle.
On this occasion, Mr. Prasad said that the greatest power of the constitution is that administration in India is always determined by the mandate of people. It employs every Indian – regardless of religion, caste, language or region – and ensures that not only governments, but all constitutional authorities remain responsible to the people.
He remembered Dr. Rajendra Praad, Jawaharlal Nezru, Sardar VallaBhbhai Patel and Maulan Abul Kalam Azad.
He stressed that while India was once fragmented into more than 550 princely states, Sardar Patel joined them into a single nation and embodied the spirit of the Unity of the Constitution.
The lecture was attended by the chairman of the Bihar University Service Commission Commission Prof. Girish Kumar Chaudhary, Vice -Chairman of the Chancellor Pataliputra University UPENDRA Prasad Singh, Vice -Rector Magadh University Professor Shahi, along with other members of the faculty and students.
Dr. In her presidential address, Ratna Amritová emphasized the contributions of Bhuvneshwari Dayal, former mayor of Patna KN Sahay and prof. Nirmal Kumar Srivastava in the establishment of BD College.
She informed the assembly that the construction of a new building of the university is approaching the completion and efforts to accredit NAAC. She also said that the university canteen will soon be managed by women Jeevika.
