A five-member Congress party team set up to negotiate seat-sharing with the DMK for next year’s assembly elections will meet DMK president and Chief Minister MK Stalin on December 3 at Anna Arivalayam, the party’s headquarters in Chennai.
Congress leaders will also meet a committee formed by the DMK to hold talks with alliance partners on seat-sharing for the parliamentary polls.
The five-member Congress committee includes All India Congress Committee (AICC) in-charge of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Girish Chodankar, party presidents Suraj Hegde and Nivedith Alva, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) president K. Selvaperunthagai and Congress Legislature Party leader S. Rajeshkumar.
