District collector S. Venkateshwar on Monday (September 29, 2025) issued an dismissal command “22a ban” to register real estate in Auto Nagar in Tirupati. The APIIC developed 338 land in the range of 18.25 hectares in Autonagar in 1997, of which 337 automobile units were sold. He mentioned that since September 29, 2025, no empty plot remained.
Mr. Venkateswar said he had suspended the registration of car real estate register from 20 October 2018, quoted that the land in Sy.74/7 from Akcarampalle Village and SY. 95/2 under the village of Mangalam was under the forbidden list of 22A. However, as many applications came to the income of Sadassul, the same was explored and considered favorable.
Owners will now be able to legally register their properties, thereby ensuring protection against ownership. This will also facilitate inheritance, use of loans, access to government programs and other related benefits, he said.
The cancellation of the prohibition, the collector informed, will have a direct benefit of 337 automobile units, while 1,500 workers employed in this area will gain job security.
