128. The anniversary of the birth of Freedom Fighter Alluri Sitharama Raju was celebrated on Friday in the collector’s premises in Eluro by patriotic enthusiasm. The district collector K. Vetriselvi was honored by Garlanding by the Alluri statue on the collector’s compound.
Mrs. Vetriselvi, who dealt with the assembly, described Alluri Sitharam Raja as a great and noble power whose life continues to inspire. She urged today’s youth to draw strength from Alluri’s courage, selfless and unwavering commitment to the freedom of the nation. “Every citizen should work for the well -being of the nation and people. Government employees must be inspired by these national heroes and serve the public with determination,” she added.
The collector emphasized Alluri’s victim, simplicity and tireless struggle for the rights of people and the independence of the country and called him a real model for youth. She stressed that young people should receive values such as patriotism, unity and integrity by learning from such iconic leaders.
