Collector Sibi ADHITHYA SENTHIL KUMAR ordered the owners of quarries and crushes to obtain permission from the Ministry of Geology and mines for the storage and transport of M-Sand and Gravel.
According to the prevention of illegal transport and storage of minerals and mineral rules for the transport and storage of minerals and mineral retailers from 2011, the units of Quarry and the crushers required a suitable permit for the District Administration for M-Sand and Gravel and also for their transport.
Furthermore, because the transit passage system for the transport of M-Sannd and Gravel will come into effect from 12 June, the units from the quarry and the crusher were instructed to provide the required details at www.mimas.tn.gov.in.
After registration, a free transit card would be issued that could be used to transport M-Sand and Gravel materials. Applicants may contact the Office of the Ministry of Geology and the Mining Office in the collector’s premises.
