
The two -day conference on further medical education (CME) organized by the Ministry of General Medicine, the Government Medical College, Kozhikode, started on the academic land on Saturday, June 14.
The Faculty of Different parts of Kerala leads various sessions and topics such as sudden cardiac death, gestational diabetes, rabies prevention, amoebic meningoencephalitis, liver and kidney disease and stroke that are covered. The peaks include discussion on prevention of rabies infection and the effectiveness of correct first aid and timely vaccination and passive immunization. Contemporary epidemiological factors and the latest treatment instructions are also discussed in the state of amoebic meningoencephalitis in Kerala. More than 300 delegates from different parts of Kerala participate in the event. The conference was opened by KG Sajeeth Kumar, director.
