The CM will launch a summit on women’s politics on November 2

Chief Minister VD Satheesan will inaugurate a two-day summit on women’s politics in the national capital on November 2.

The ‘Her Summit 2026’ event will be organized as part of the Makalkoppam programme.

Minister for Women and Child Development Bindhu Krishna said the government aims to announce a new women’s policy on March 8, International Women’s Day, next year. The new policy was meant for social, financial and political empowerment of women for a just, secure and progressive Keralam.

Employment – financial empowerment and entrepreneurship; political representation and leadership; education-health-psychological care; women’s safety and laws; and cyber security are the five main areas of discussion at the summit.
