Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the newly constructed Bhojalingeshwar temple at Sungur (N) village in Chittapur taluk and dedicate the silver ratha and kalyan mantapa on Saturday.
Addressing a press conference at the temple premises on Monday, Peethadhipathi of Bhojalingeshwar temple Hiragappa Thatha said that various religious programs and special puja will start two days before the event.
The temple was built in the name of Bhojalingeshwara who treated all human beings equally and spread harmony in the society.
The temple authorities continue the same principles even today, with the primary concept of education and equal rights for all, he said.
Ministers Priyank Kharge, Byrati Suresh, Sharan Prakash Patil, Sharanabasappa Darshanapur, Satish Jarkiholi, Shivaraj Tangadagi, BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan, MPs Radhakrishna Doddamani, G. Kumar Naik, Chairman KKRDB, Ajay Singh, Patil Alle Kanez BR Patrabhu, MLAs Patil BR Fatima, Channareddy Patil Tunnur and others will attend the event.
