The city police is conducting drone surveillance in parts of Mysuru

The city police on Thursday conducted drone surveillance in areas under the jurisdiction of Udayagiri police station and Mandi police station to maintain law and order and ensure public safety.

The drone surveillance covered areas near Al Badr and Nimra Mosque in Udayagiri Police Station and Kailaspuram and Sunni Chowk in Mandi Police Station limits, a press release said here.

The police department conducts daily surveillance of key locations and congested areas using drones.

“In the coming days, drones will be effectively used to gather intelligence and provide early warning during various bandobast duties, public meetings, special events and other activities in the city,” the press statement said.
