The Chinese Ambassador in India XU Feihong on Monday pulled a 50 % tariff in India in the US and invited Indian businesses to China to promote their products and invest in Beijing.
Talking at a press conference in Nový Delhi XU proposed an open flow of trade between India and China.
“We welcome more Indian companies that promote their products and invest in China. We hope India can provide a fair, fair and non -discriminatory business environment for Chinese businesses,” he said.
“Together we should advocate the same and proper multipolar world and the generally beneficial and inclusive economic globalization and firmly against any form of tariffs and trade wars,” added the XU.
The Chinese diplomat took the Trump tariff to India and called it unfair and disproportionate and accused the US of benefiting from free trade.
“The United States has long benefited from free trade. However, it now uses tariffs as a weapon to request exaggerated prices. 50% of the tariff on India is unfair, disproportionate, and China will stand firm.”
He said that Chinese President Xi Jinping told Prime Minister Narendra Modi that China and India should prefer development and support mutual support and success.
“PM Modi said that cooperation in India and China will make the 21st century a real Asian century,” he added.
China kills American “bullying”
Xu Feihong, who led more kicks in the US, said the world has entered the new phase of turbulence.
“Currently, the changes are invisible over centuries, unilateralism and bullying are on the rise, and the world has entered the new period of turbulence and transformation. Humanity is again facing the choice between peace and war, dialogue and confrontation, winning cooperation and zero game.”
The Chinese ambassador urged India to work with China to protect world peace.
“As two ancient eastern civilizations and the main developing countries, China and India should prove as the main powers of the global vision and responsibility and contribute to ensuring world peace, promote common development and improve global administration,” he said.
“To this end, we should first continue with a great friendship created during the war for resistance and, together on a journey of peaceful coexistence between the main neighboring countries,” Xu added.
