Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Director N. Satyanarayana Raju urged the children to live in harmony with nature and celebrate a healthy and interdependent relationship. On the occasion of Children’s Day on Friday (November 14, 2025) at Sri Venkateswara Vidyalaya, Mr. Raju, quoting Pandit Nehru, called children the “future of India” and appealed to them to imbibe values and ethics in striving for the nation’s prosperity.
In an interactive session, a talk on “Practical Mathematics in Real Life” was delivered by Professors Siva Shankar Sastry and P. Satyanarayana Sarma, renowned mathematicians from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. The event was part of a science outreach program organized in partnership with TACT Academy Trust.
Meanwhile, P. Neelakanta Sivacharya, Professor, Sri Venkateswara Vedic University (SVVU), Tirupati, delivered a spiritual lecture on the importance of the month of Kartheeka for both Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva deities and the need to instill pious thoughts in young minds to make them noble citizens. Led by the school’s executive committee members, principal and teachers, the students offered prayers to the peepal, amla, tulasi and neem trees located in the campus.
