A pregnant passenger gave birth to a baby on board the train with the help of railway staff at Bantwal railway station in Karnataka on April 26 evening.
According to a statement by the Mysuru division of South Western Railway, pregnant passenger Ponnamma was traveling in the main train between Murdeshwar and Bengaluru. When the train reached the Bantwal railway station at 7.22 pm, it was found that he was in distress and bleeding profusely.
