Main Minister Siddaramaiaha on Tuesday launched a special technology based on digiCer developed Karnataka State Nursing Council for nursing registration.
The main minister said the new technology facilitates the issue of registration certificates via Digilocker E-KKUC based in Aadhaar. The system was developed in cooperation with the unique identification body of India (Uidai), the Center for the E-Damic Administration (C-EG), Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and the Karnataka nursing exams.
With this technology, the State Nursing Council of Karnataka can directly load personal data, address, photo and other details of nurses from Aadhaar via E-KYC. Previously, nursing candidates from various districts had to travel to the Central Office of the Council in Bengalur to register.
The new DigiS-Requester technology allows the Council to directly load the AADHAAR cards, SSLC and PU Marks cards and other test certificates. Using the technology accepted by RGUHS and the Board of Directors, the results of the tests will be directly accessible by the Council. Subsequently, the registration certificates will be issued directly to the nurses via Digilocker-ISSUER.
