The government demanded a center for at least nine teams of national reactions to the response to disasters (NDRF) until the Monsoun has intervened. The NDR units would be deployed in the districts of IDUKKI, MALAPPURAM, CAASARAGOD and Thrissur.
Meanwhile, the government has moved 1 198 citizens affected by rain to state camps for assistance.
