Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant is scheduled to arrive in Tirupati on a two-day visit starting on February 28.
He will lay the foundation stone of the district court complex at Daminedu on the outskirts of Tirupati on March 1.
Ahead of the scheduled visit, a team of officials led by District Collector S. Venkateswar, Joint Collector R. Govinda Rao, Trainee Collector Sandeep Raghuvanshi, Superintendent of Police L. Subbarayudu, Airport Director Tirupati Bhuminathan and others inspected the site being prepared for ‘Bhumi Puja’.
In a meeting held earlier with Third Additional District and Sessions Judge M Gurunath and other officials, Mr. Venkateswar reviewed the arrangements being made at the site.
