
Hardly 24 hours after the Karnataka government set up a high -level committee that explored the death of tigers in the wilderness of MM Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, the chairman changed.
In the original order issued by the government on Thursday, June 26, as the chairman of the management committee, BP Ravi, PCCF (evaluation, work plan, research and training) were appointed probe.
However, in the fresh communication published on Friday, June 27, Kumar Pushkar, another main conservator of forests (administration and coordination), was appointed Kumar Pushkar, as chairman of Mr. Ravi. The authorities said that the latter wrote to the government and tried to be apologized for becoming part of the committee because of previous obligations.
