Former President of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) S. SOMATH was selected for the Ramasramam Unneerikkutty Award.
The jury consisting of chairman Ramasramam Trust M. Mukundan, Mayor of Kozhikode Been Philip and M. Mohanan chose Mr. Somnath for his contributions to space research.
The price carries 50,000 GBP in cash, quotation and memento. According to the press release, it will be presented during an event that will be held in Kozhikode in August 2025.
