
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that his government was standing alongside with disabled people by launching his visit to Himachal Pradesh and Panjab to evaluate the flood situation.
Narendra Modi is now on a day’s visit to Himachal Pradesh and Panjab.
After visiting Himachal Pradesh, PM modi will conduct an aerial survey of areas affected by floods in Pandjab. He also visits Gurdaspur, organizes discussions with higher officials and presided over by the inspection meeting in the ground situation, the officials said.
He will also interact with the people affected by the floods and the NDF, SDRF and AAPDA MITRA in Gurdaspur.
While leaving Delhi for Himachal Pradesh and Panjab to review the situation as a result of floods and landslides, PM modi wrote on x,
“The Indian government stands alongside the shoulder with those affected in this tragic lesson.”
PM Modi was deeply concerned with the flood situation in the pandjab and watched it carefully, said the Chief of Pandjab Bjp Sunil Jakhar on Sunday.

Flood in the pandjab
Pandjab is currently facing one of the worst flood disasters for decades. The floods are caused by swollen rivers, Sutlej, Beas and Ravi, along with seasonal rivulets caused by severe collisions in their basin in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.
