The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday (April 14, 2026) conducted searches at 77 places in eight states and Union Territories in connection with 22 cases registered after High Court instructions to investigate alleged links between builders and financial institutions.
According to the agency, the suspected collusion led to the defrauding of unsuspecting home buyers.
