
Days after the Indian Muftti, Kanthapuram AP Abobacker Musaliyar, claimed that Kerala sister Nimisha Priya was inverted in Yemen, government sources said the demands were incorrect, reported PTI on Wednesday.
Government sources also pointed out that any speculation about this sensitive matter should be prevented.
“We have seen reports concerning the demands on the Nimisha Priya case. They are incorrect. We are inviting people to avoid misinformation and speculation in a sensitive matter,” PTI said.
The clarification came after the Grand Muftti reportedly stated that the Office of the Prime Minister and the Ministry for External Affairs were aware of his efforts in the case of Priy.

On Monday, the reports quote the statement of the Kanthapuram AP Abubakr Musliyar said that the decision to completely abolish the death penalty was made during a high -level meeting in the capital of Yemen in Sanaa.

The 37 -year -old Indian nurse from Kerala, Nimisha Priya, was to be scheduled for 16 July after being convicted of killing the Yemeni national national state in November 2023.
Originally planned on 16 July, its performance was temporarily stopped only a day before this date.
In 2017, she was convicted of the murder of her Yemeni business partner Talal Abdo Mahdi. In 2020 she was sentenced to death and her last attraction was rejected in 2023.
According to Yemeni court documents, Priya reportedly drugged and killed Mahdi in July 2017. He is currently in prison in the capital of Yemen, Sanaa.
