A woman interviewed at Zoom thought she did it quite well. But later she found something shocking.
The interview was recorded in the Fathom App and she accidentally received not only recapitulation, but also a video of a private cottage. After checking out, the Executive Director said she liked her and found her “chill”.
However, the newly hired director strongly criticized her and called it the weakest of three other candidates. “She felt like pulling teeth,” she said.
The Executive Director seemed to have agreed and said he was overwhelming, perhaps only on paper.
“Her energy was subdued,” he said. “It could be a function of what looks good on paper … and miss some energy.”
“Energy, drive, curiosity, you know … she could play at work, but I was looking for a little more” OOMPH “,” added the new director.
The new director then told the Executive Director that they should talk to her personally to see if they could “get vibration” for her.
After discussing it, both interviewers had carelessly talked about another candidate, team dinner and even a problem with the PSims of the Board of Directors. The Reddit user was disrupted by how the new director seemed to refuse and how the Executive Director agreed with it.
Then the story turned. On the same day she was offered her real dream work with a respected organization that she wanted months. She felt relieved and amused, decided not to take part in the second round with the first company.
