It seems that the political tussle above the Hemavati River Link project seems to be more intense with the Deputy Minister of DK Shivakumar, who accuses those who oppose the evil tactics project. He warned them that the law took into his own hands, while the opposition leader in the R. Ashok Ashok called on the government to consult the key leaders of all parties in this matter and withdraw cases filed against farmers against the project.
Mr. Shivakumar, who addressed a press conference in Bengalur on Monday, said the government would start a strict action if someone took the law into their own hands. “It is not possible to jeopardize the government,” he said.
He said he would publish “blackmail tactics” and the real requirements of those who fight the Hemavati River Link Canal project at a suitable time.
He denied the accusation that the water was diverted to the Bengaluru South district by building a connected channel and claimed that the Southern district of Bengalur did not need haemavati water because other schemes are designed to take care of its needs. In fact, Kunigal, who would be the recipient of this channel, has suffered injustice because almost 90% of its share in the water has not yet been used, he said.

He said that the project was clarified when the main minister is the head of JD (s) and the Minister of the HD Kumaraswama trade unions. But Bjp detained it when BS yediyuppa followed him.
He said that lawmakers and leaders of BJP described the opposition to the project as “political” and were against jealousy.
The cost of the project, which was launched at an initial estimate of 600 GBP Crore, has now escalated to the Crore 900 and 1,000 crore, he said.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ashok has required an exception to submit cases against those opposing the project to organize consultations with the leaders of all political parties to find a solution to this matter. “The government should have discussions with farmers to find a resolution,” he demanded.
