Members of the All-India BSNL Association strongly condemned the proposed change in the central government to pension rules trying to suppress the Supreme Court’s decision and reject legitimate benefits for pensioners.
In a statement issued on Friday (March 28), the President of the Association of V. Vara Phad in Vijayawada said that the change was not just a bureaucratic change, it is a direct attack on the dignity and financial security of millions of pensioners who served the nation with determination.

Mr. Prasad, who claimed the deliberate exclusion of past pensioners, said: “The amendment ensures that the future benefits for remuneration only apply to new pensioners and rob existing pensioners of fair revisions. This is an open violation of equality and natural justice.”
He argued that financial ascension could not be performed at the cost of older people, he said that if there was money for rescue rescue and political extravagance, why to deny justice to pensioners. He accused the government of avoiding legal liability by rewriting the law and declared: “The pension is the right, not the kindness. Pensioners do not live on government generosity, live about what is their right.” He added.
He said that the Association requires an immediate return of the amendment to the “anti-maternity” and called on deputies to oppose this step and judges to realize this “attempt to rewrite legal protection”. He said that if the government could not pay attention to its reason, the association would escalate protests throughout the country.
