Gareth won Owen, British Deputy High Commissioner for Andr Pradesh and Telangana, and on Tuesday he met Ministers Andr Pradesh at the State Secretariat. Discussions focused on various ongoing government programs and projects, including the development of Amaravati and Polavaram.
The Minister of Information and Public Relations Kolus PARTHSARARTHY shared a detailed insight into the administration, education and business initiatives along with the key priorities of the state government.
The meeting also emphasized the vision of Andhra Pradesh for regional development, with Visakhapatnam appeared as an It Center, Rayalaseema as an industrial node and Amaravati as a central city that increases overall growth. The discussion has explored potential cooperation in sectors such as business, education, tourism, agriculture and technology, with the aim of strengthening future partnerships in the UK – etc.
The accompanying representative of the High Commissioner was the British political advisor Nalini Raghuraman and Dr. Arasavilli Aravind, chairman of the Excel Education Group. The British delegation expressed optimism that the meeting would prepare a way for robust cooperation between the State and the United Kingdom.
