“BJP blames that social and educational survey can lead to division in society, is false and unfounded. Such accusations are politically motivated. The survey is carried out to assess the social and educational position of each community.
He spoke to reporters at the start of the survey. He said that 12 lakh families in the district will be asked by a team of more than 10,300 enumerators. “Each enumerator visits 150 houses to collect data,” he added.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammed Roshan said that the survey will cover not only all these houses with power connection, but even those without it.
“Even those who live in remote areas without a mobile connection will be covered. We have developed plans to make a special effort to document the conditions of such families. They will be carried out either offline or in the camps after they connect them in one place. We identified 38 such places,” he said.
At first, the Enumerators suffered a problem with connecting mobile networks in the Camp Street and started a survey from Nezru Nagar. The problem was solved after a few minutes and details of the survey were recorded, the officials said.
