
Two people died when their motorcycle hit a road divider in Saroornagar on Sunday morning.
Gulla Madhu and Rama Krishna Harish, both 32 years old, were traveling from LB Nagar towards Dilsukhnagar at around 6 am when the rider lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into the partition at metro pillar number A1618.
Madhu was a resident of Mohan Nagar. Harish was an external employee of GHMC from Telephone Colony, Nagole.
“The impact threw both of them onto the road and caused severe head injuries which killed them on the spot. The bodies were taken to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem,” police said, adding that preliminary information points to high speed as the cause of the accident.
