Hi friends! I hope you’re having a great morning. Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing a lengthy post about building a healthy relationship with food, but today, I wanted to revisit this old gem in honor of the upcoming “All Things Green” holiday.
Not only is this the ultimate St. Patrick’s Day cocktail, but it’s also a fantastic drink for anytime!

While I’m not particularly Irish—just a bit from my great-grandmother’s side—I did dabble in Irish step dancing (let’s just say my jig was average) and married an Irish man who introduced me to his rich family culture. Fun fact: his family owns a bar in Ireland, a place we’d love to visit someday!
This cocktail is a family favorite—sweet, rich, and absolutely perfect for the holiday.
We’ve had some unforgettable St. Patrick’s Day adventures, like exploring Savannah and celebrating all over the city.
My version of this cocktail uses almond milk, but you can also use heavy cream or regular milk:

[One of these things is not like the others. Also, these are older pics, but my go-to almond milk right now is the Malk brand.]
As many of you know, I avoid dairy for health, skin, and autoimmune reasons, but I’ll never say no to Baileys Irish Cream. I’ve even created a dairy-free version that’s just as delicious.
Here’s the recipe for my favorite cocktail, which I call “The Lucky Irish Girl”. Even though I’m only partly Irish, St. Patrick’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. I hope you enjoy this drink as much as we do!

I added a bit of spinach to mine for a festive green cocktail—unfortunately, it doesn’t turn into a healthy elixir (bonus vitamins, though! Haha). It looks nice, and you can also use natural green food coloring.
For other St. Patrick’s Day favorites, try warm Irish coffee with Irish whiskey or a Guinness shot with Baileys. Green beer is always a hit too!
Cheers!
What’s your favorite mocktail or cocktail recipe? This is mine, but I also love a good sangria and these spring mocktail recipes.
Do you have any past St. Patrick’s Day adventures to share?
Let’s make this holiday extra special with a toast to good times and great drinks!
