
The tragedy hit the cricket world! Bengal’s rising star, Priyajit Ghosh, died at the age of only 22 years because of a heart attack during the gym. This talented cricket journey ended suddenly on Friday morning and left friends, relatives and teammates in sadness.
Priyajit, resident Bolpur in the district of Birbhum, had big dreams – he wanted to play for Bengal in Ranja Trophy and finally knock on the door of the national team. The cricket was more than just a sport for him; It was his meditation. His cricket journey began at the district level, where he excelled as the highest cross-country Getter in the intermediate-circuit cricket tournament organized by the cricket association of Bengal (CAB) in the 2018-19 season. He was even honored by the cabin, and this medal still holds a special place in his room. It was the highest run at the U-16 tournament.
On Friday, Priyajit went to the gym in the Bolpur mission region to stay fit, as well as the Virat Kohli advocates. Tragically, when he sweated during his training, he suddenly fell ill and succumbed to a heart attack. His premature death shocked the Bengal cricket community.
