The cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) suspended its common secretary Debabrat Das after accusation of financial misconduct. It denotes a significant decision for the Bengal -Criket body, because this is the first time it was adopted against the highest official.
Debabrat Das was banned from all activities and positions in the cab for six months. The cricket Council of Bengal has launched a thorough investigation into financial transactions and accusations of a common secretary.
DAS is accused of receiving money from individuals in exchange for promises to secure their selection for Bengal teams or clubs associated with the cabin. He is supposed to have abused cabin sources by allowing accounts for the food of city clubs and directing them through cabin canteen expenditures. They also face the accusations of pressure on the players to represent the city club, and offer verbal reassurance of the future selection of the Bengal team.
On another scale, the cabin decided to suspend the financing of the city club, which is presided over by DAS.
The suspension sent shock waves through the Bengal cricket community, and many demanded stricter action against officials involved in financial discrepancies. The Apex Capex Council said that the investigation would be closed within six months, after which further measures will be taken on the basis of its findings.
In early August, The cabin issued a notice of the cause of the show Das. Was he charged with almost detaining? The cabin ordered DAS to clean up fees within 15 days.
This is not the first discussion that surrounds DAS. He used to be involved in public spitting with the former Indian Brašn Wriddhiman Saha, who accused him of questioning his commitment to the Bengal team, which eventually led to Saha to Tripura.
