Bar K, the concept of Dog Park and Bar, which became a refuge for pet owners and their furry companions, announced its permanent closure with immediate effect.
Notification, published on the company’s websiteHe quoted a number of economic and operating challenges as a reasons for a difficult decision.
“We are a fracture to announce that the bar K is permanently closed, immediately effectively,” the statement began. “We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to create this joyful space where our community was able to celebrate and share our special connection with our best friends.”
The assembly challenges have shown too much
While the bar was not the only reason for its closure, the founders described in detail a number of questions that suffered from business. Like many in the hospitality industry, the startup “inflation costs and expenditures, the extremely difficult labor market and sharply reduced consumer expenses” face.
In addition, the flagship in Kansas City has become “extremely isolated massive construction projects that made it difficult to access at best and consumed a large part of their parking,” the announcement explained.
Painful farewell to the companions of the dog
Closing Bar resonated with a team that built a brand around a joyous dog community. “What hurts the most is to know that dogs do not understand why they can no longer visit their favorite place on the ground. Please hug them for us,” the statement read.
Gratitude for employees and customers
The founders paid tribute to their employees and loyal patrons who helped make the bar to the community center. “We want to thank our amazing team of employees – the only consistent chorus we have heard over the years is how much our customers appreciate the love and compassion that our team has shown to our dogs.”
They also expressed deep recognition to customers and said: “We want to thank you on behalf of all in the bar, to the community loving dogs, for supporting us over the years and for trusting us to create this unique new experience for you and your puppies.”
