
The State Executive Committee of the Government College Gazetted Teachers Association (GCGTA) met here on Sunday (December 21, 2025) and discussed key issues such as challenges faced by faculty members in government colleges, current admission scenario, academic development and measures required to improve educational standards.
MLC S. Ramakrishna, who participated in the program, shared insights about the education system and functioning of government educational institutions in Finland, where he recently visited along with a delegation from the Ministry of Education. Talking about government colleges in the education system, he mentioned the government’s initiatives to improve education standards.
The meeting was presided over by the state president of the association, P. Gopala Naidu, while secretary Srinivasa Reddy informed the members about the achievements of the state executive committee of the association.
Former state president Bhaskara Rao offered several suggestions to the members. GCGTA State Desk Calendar was released on the occasion. Association State Joint Secretary K. Srinivas, Vice Presidents M. Venkata Seshaiah, Presidents and Secretaries of various districts, Zonal Secretaries, Zonal Vice Presidents and a large number of unit members from SRR and CVR Government Degree College participated in the programme.
