
The Keral Assembly on Thursday passed the Industrial check -in law for one window in Kerala and the development of the industrial black district (amendment) in the middle of the ongoing boycott of the opposition united democratic front (UDF) over the Golden Line of Sabarimala. Depending on the amendment, the Council for Promotion of State Investment, Investment Promotion and a facilitating cell and a committee for monitoring of investment promotion will be set up.
The Minister of Industry P. Rajeeve stated that the bill is part of several initiatives that the state government adopted to support business and to ensure job opportunities for the next generation.
“Given the changed geopolitical situation, job opportunities abroad are decreasing, which has led to reverse migration. So it is important that young people have more opportunities in Kerala,” said Mr. Rajeeve.
The purpose of the Board of Directors for the promotion of state investment, led by the main minister, is aimed at solving the difficulties that may occur in the implementation of industrial policy, and in deciding on a coordinated decision to relax by renowned industrial policy. It will also decide that the packages will be granted in special circumstances, in addition to relaxation announced in industrial policy, as well as for measures for the revival of industries that existed for industrial purposes, and for the commencement of industries, including new generations, on such land.
