Interior Minister G. Parameshware said on Wednesday that the proposed anti -communal force aimed at solving municipal tension and crimes in the districts of Dakshina Kannada and UDUPI will be extended to other Karnataka districts. The incidents of the moral police, which are of social nature, would also be entrusted with anti -communal force, the minister said.
Soon after the murder of activists Hindutva and murder, Suhas Shetty in Mangalur, Dr. Parameshware has announced that the anti-communal force will be dealt with on the lines of anti-naxal power (ANF) and alleviate municipal distortions in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.
When he talked to Prespersons here, he said that polarization took place here and there and the government wants to ensure that all these things are resting. “I asked the CEO to send a proposal in this respect, and I was told that they were sent. We will explore it and approve it at the government level. At first I announced it for two districts, now we can expand to any district where there are municipal problems,” the Minister said.
The answer to the question of whether the moral police would also be referred to anti -communal strength, Dr. Parameshware, the incidents of the moral police, which are of social nature, would naturally attract the actions of the anti -communal force.
Dr. Parameshware said earlier that the head officer of the rank of the General Police Inspector (IGP) or higher would be entrusted to the leadership and supervision of this anti-communition force.
