The government Andr Pradesh announced the rules of Mangalagiri Golden Association (Formulation and Implementation), 2025, which prepared the way to establish the most modern gem and jewelry in the capital.
The scheme, which was cleaned through GOMS No. 175 by the city administration and development (Ma & UD), will cover 78.01 acres in the village of Atmakur in Mangalagiri Mandal in the Guntur district. The project assumes an integrated gold cluster including a jewelry production center, a luxury mega shopping center for gold and diamond products, a skill development center, as well as residential and community facilities.
Officials said the initiative is focused on the use of the Indian jewelry market of $ 100 billion by supporting advanced design, craft and innovation, and creating a global destination for front brands of jewelry.
The government stressed that land acquisition would be voluntary and consensual, according to the model of land association under the APCRDA law of 2014. As part of this mechanism, landowners contribute to the office and receive reconstructed developed graphs in return, making them partners in the development process. The rules, as the officials supplied, were framed to ensure justice for the affected families and the fair sharing of the benefits. The capital development office (APCRDA) was entitled to implement the project in coordination with Mangalagiri-Tadepalli Municipal Corporation (MTMC). Support infrastructure, such as internal roads, water supply and public equipment, will also be developed within this system. The authorities believe that the cluster will generate extensive jobs, attract global investments and build Andhra Pradesh as a center for jewelry, retail and export design.
