As part of its obligation to strengthen the enforcement of the rights and furnishings of youth skills prepared for the future, the state government for Kalaburagaga began the public security infrastructure based on drones.
The initiative means the beginning of a police -based police model and sets the basis for a qualified working group for drones across the state.
At the formal event in Bengalur on Thursday, the Minister of the Interior G. Parameshware handed over two advanced tracking drones, Nimble-I and NS01, police commissioner Kalaburagagi SD Sharanappa.
These AI driven drones, designed and manufactured in the state, are deployed with the support of the private sector within the CSR initiatives.
“Our vision is to equip every police station in the state of drones. These drones will increase the dexterity and sensitivity of our forces. Their native design reflects how local innovations can serve the public interest,” Parameshware.
Drones have advanced supervision capabilities such as monitoring day and night, automatic number of numeric plates, crowding and vehicle monitoring, and fast field deployment allowing technical police police across districts, Minister of the Interior said.
Drone training
He joined the event, Minister for the Development of Rural and Panchayat Raj, IT & BT and Kalaburagag district in-year Priyank Kharge announced that 500 Kalaburagag youth will be trained in DGCA-certified drone operations.
Training will open up career opportunities in agriculture, logistics, disaster management and monitoring of infrastructure.
“Our technological power should become a catalyst for rural transformation and throw open opportunities. Drones are among the fastest growing industries around the world. We are preparing them for future jobs and supporting local innovations and technologically based ecosystems.”
With projections that indicate by 2026 more than one lakh job in the Indian drone industry, the state focuses on location not only as a user, but also as a national node for innovation and talent of drones, he added.
“The management of the state in the air space, electronics and research and development provides a strong basis for expanding the initiatives of skills across districts. This initiative reflects our government’s obligation to technologically supported and makes Kalaburagagi a model district where meaningful impact is reduced,” Kharge said.
The state continues to lead to advanced technologies, building durable infrastructure and creating job opportunities through inclusive and intelligent administration, he said.
