The Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Officers Association has expressed its gratitude to Agriculture Minister Kinjarap Atchannaidu for clearing the long-pending promotions in the department. The representatives of the association met the minister and thanked him for approving seven years of pending promotions and also for facilitating the posting to preferred posts.
State Secretary General Dr. D. Praveen said the issue of promotion from Assistant Directors of Agriculture (ADAs) to Deputy Directors (DDs) was discussed with the Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister. Under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Minister resolved the matter, leading to the promotion of 37 ADAs to Deputy Directors.
