
As part of the Karnataka Transformation project, Maharan’s Arts College for Women and Maharan’s Science College for Women on Thursday and detained extensive interaction with stakeholders has visited the Karnataka.
It was based on a memorandum of understanding (MO) signed between the Ministry of Higher Education and Adb.
The aim of a four -year project, sanctioned in 2023 with financial expenses of 2,500 crore, aims to upgrade the infrastructure, strengthen academic facilities and create employability skills among students at 440 government universities, 107 polytechnic universities and 16 utilities throughout the state.
Upon completion of the foundation, the project is ready for implementation, the edition said. The nine -member ADB team, which consists of global experts and scientists in education and development, is consulted.
Chandrashekar B., Common Director, Department of College and Technical Education (DCTE), Mysore region, emphasized the need to bridge skills gaps and build capacity in higher education. He said that in the field of higher education, much more must be carried out and it is necessary to take steps to fill the gap in the skills between students to allow them to excel, he added.
The ADB team communicated with members of the faculty, students and graduates of the university.
The team traveled around the area to give up the current state of buildings and university infrastructure.
