
Instagram post actor Antony Varghese, who shares what he described as an experience of evoking “goose -go, flying from Hyderabad to Kochi on the crew of all women with two abortion attempts to land and how all passengers at Kochi airport on Thursday afternoon.
Flight, 6E 6707, which was to land at Kochi Airport at 12:10, interrupted the initial attempt followed by a second attempt before moving into Coimbatore due to bad weather. The flight eventually landed in Kochi around 2 pm
Mr. Varghese returned after packing his latest film in Hyderabad. What looked like a routine flight turned into something directly from the film, when the weather became “wild”, he wrote.
He said that the first landing attempt was interrupted just a few meters above the track, followed by the second intense when the pilot decided to pull out. “Without even cleaning the track, it raised the plane back to heaven. Goosebumps,” Mr. Antony read.
The voltage in the cabin was tangible and the passengers were shaken. “But the way the crew, all women, managed the situation, was not inspiring,” he wrote. When the flight eventually landed safely in Kochi, the cabin broke into applause.
“For phenomenal women in the cockpit and cabin – your quick decision, accuracy and professionalism changed the scary situation at a moment of deep respect and gratitude. Thank you for showing us what the real grace looks like,” Varghese packed his post.
The sources of Indigo have confirmed that the flight really had a crew of all women, but refused to share their details. Authorities at Kochi Airport said the landing was interrupted when the Indian Meteorological Department issued a thunderstorm forecast for this area, including the airport.
