Social activist Omprakash Rotti, based in Bidar, said that the state government was blind at the Ministry of Women and Children ‘Care.
On Saturday, he told reporters in Belagavi that Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar protects some corrupt officers instead of punishing them.
Mr. Rotta said he filed a complaint against two representatives of Tipnann Sirasage and Ravindra Rathhnakar for mass abuse of funds and a dairy powder for Anganwadis on the black market.
“After my complaints, higher officials of the Ministry of Investigation carried out the ministry against these two representatives and found them guilty. They recommended disciplinary steps against them. Mr. Sirasage and Mr. Rathhnar’s incompetence and Mr. Rathhnak were discussed at the DISHA level,” he said.
“The main Minister Siddarahaiah ordered the leaders to take steps against these officials. However, Mrs. Hebbalkar does not act against them. In fact, we protect them. We actually require these officers to be removed immediately.
Mr. Rotti also issued some documents about questions.
Mrs. Hebalkar said that she would respond to a fee after studying cases.
