Two employees of Osmania University were arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau on Wednesday (April 1) for demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹13,000 for handling pension-related paperwork.
The accused, identified as K. Ramesh, Assistant Assistant in the Pay Bill Section, was apprehended while accepting ₹13,000 from the complainant. The amount was collected for him and on behalf of Senior Assistant Aravind in return for facilitating the submission and processing of the complainant’s mother’s pension benefit file.
