
Mentor Super Giants (LSG) Zheer Khan said the team never doubted the quality of Rishabh Pant as a dough. Pant had difficult time in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 after Super Giants couldn’t get into the play -off.
27 -year -old pants, however, in the last league game LSG against Royal Challengers Bengalur (RCB) on Tuesday, May 27, at the cricket stadium Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Cricket in Lucknow.
Panting hit his second IPL hundred out of 54 balls and led LSG to a score of 227 for three. Zaheer said that Pant’s Leadership was a “clear place in the LSG in the season, but said that the tournament would be an experience of learning as a dough.
“Well, he was good as a leader. It was clearly positive for us during the season. The form with the bat was definitely a teaching experience for him that had this kind of season. But his ability and caliber are no doubt.
“We are glad that he has ended up on a strong note – this is a caliber he has and the impact he can have on the game,” Zahreer added.
Pant’s Knock, however, went in vain when RCB won a match of six goals after chasing a mammoth target at 18.4 overs. Super Giants completed their campaign in seventh place with 12 points and a net speed of -0.376 thanks to victory in six out of 14 games.
As for the hinge, 226 runs from 14 games in IPL 2025 scored an average of 24.45 and a strike rate of 133.16. His other 50-plus score came against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) 14th April when he earned 63 in Lucknow.
