
Armed clashes between Thailand and Cambodia broke out on Thursday, when both countries accused each other of firing the first shots after weeks to drive tension and diplomatic meters. So far, nine Thai civilians have been across three provinces, the Thai Army said. The killing was an eight -year -old boy. Meanwhile, Thailand sewed the border with Cambodia because the clashes were still escalating.
The collision came after Thailand remembered its Ambassador in Cambodia late on Wednesday and said that it would exclude the Cambodian envoy in Bangkok, after the second Thai soldier lost his limb in the accident in the week.

Both countries are fighting for a controversial area on the border.
For more than a century, Thailand and Cambodia have questioned the sovereignty in various unpopular points along their 817 km (508 miles) of the land boundaries, which has led to skirmishes for several years and at least a dozen deaths, including during the weekly artillery exchange in 2011.

The tension was ruled in May after killing a Cambodian soldier during a short shooting replacement that escalated into a fully blown diplomatic crisis and has now caused armed clashes.

Cambodian soldiers launched fire and two Thai soldiers were injured, said a spokesman for the Thai army, adding that Cambodia used several weapons, including launching missiles.
However, a spokesman for the Cambodian Ministry of Defense said that Thai troops had been unintentional entry and the Cambodian forces responded in self -defense.
